WHDLoad kickstart image?

I have WHDLoad installed on my A1200 and I keep getting errors from the app trying to load devs:kickstarts/kick34005.a500.  I was missing the file then read that I coud just take a 1.3 ROM image and rename it to that, move it there, and be fine.

I did, but WHDLoad says corrupt KS image or some such. Is there more to this?

You might have the wrong ks version. I think yours says v34.2, while whdload needs v34.5 or so.

If you have an A500 or A2000 (as listed on your sig), just use any utility of your choice to grab the kickstart into a file and transfer it to A1200.

 Remember that you need the exact matching ROM: 1.2 will not do it, neither 2.04/2.05 versions. Check with the "about" shortcut in the menu from 1.3 Workbench.

Are you using the Roms from AmigaForever ?

Remember that you need the exact matching ROM: 1.2 will not do it, neither 2.04/2.05 versions. Check with the "about" shortcut in the menu from 1.3 Workbench.

That's not quite true. My image came from an a500 rev 6b which had 1.3 (34.2), not 1.2, and still didn't work with whdload.
