Anybody interested in an A4000T?
« on: January 15, 2010, 12:00:26 PM »
Wrote my car off pretty dramatically last night.

Anybody interested in buying a 1993 Commodore Amiga 4000 in Micronik tower, 3.9 litre, 030 I think, FSH, does about 59 MPG, tons of Zorro slots with the extended backplane provided.

Offers??

Hi Tension, hope you are OK after the crash. Anyone else hurt?

RE your A4000T, pre a sniff of X1000, I would have been up to Bangor in a flash!
Now though, I am very tempted but holding on sorry.

No one was hurt though it was pretty scary. The car is still lying in a ditch in Ards.  Gonna cost 150 quid to get it back to Bangor.

The A4kT will most likely still be here if you ever feel tempted  ;)

Those x1000s are gonna be way out of my price range I think.

I don't want to start a price debate, but 400 pounds for a towerized A4000 '030 seems a bit steep..I'm thinking I should look up the guy I talked to this summer.  I was offered a real 4000T with an '040 for about $400 and he had a few of them.

Good luck with this, sorry to hear about the crash!

That is a pretty sweet tower case, though.
3 Commodore file cabinets, 2 Commodore USB turntables, 1 AmigaWorld beer mug
Alienware M14x i7 laptop running AmigaForever

Youve listed that in "Computing>other computing", you wont get many people seeing it there as Amigas are either in their own category or in "computing>vintage computing". Also, tomorrow is a free listing day on eBay :)

People don't usually search by category ... they search by keywords :)
