Changing Priority of Drives
« on: December 05, 2009, 03:05:15 AM »
I erased my startup drive on my A1200 HD and Reinstalled 3.1 and then 3.9.  I am running
scsi-squirrel with a CD-Rom drive.  Now when I turn on my computer the hard drive will not boot up until I go into the boot loader and turn CCO to disable.  It has priority 3, and my Hard Drive has Priority 6.  Is this the problem, is there a way to change the priority on the drives so the Hard Drive boots first?  Thanks

Which tool did you use to creat the boot partition? Same tool.
I don't know if the problem relates to priorities though. Your partition has a higher priority already. You can check if it's bootable, but since it boots when you disable the CC0, i suppose that it is.

All I can think of are these:
experiment with blizkick
try disabling the scsi.device part of boingbag2 romupdate
try disabling the boingbag2 rom update coompletely

Sorry never used CC0. Always used the internal 2.5" IDE port or Power Flyer.

Thanks for the link, but that didn't help.  It was working fine before I wiped my drive and reinstalled OS 3.9.  So I am trying to think what changed or what file is damaged.  Just hunt and peck.
