Looking for 3d modeller called "FREEFORM"
« on: February 15, 2010, 04:53:49 PM »
Back in the 1990s there was a 3d graphics modeller called "FREEFORM" available.  It could do spline modelling, etc.  and seemed kind of neat.  Does anyone know where I could get it nowadays?  Even a google search turns up very little.

Thanks.

Dear friend:

I do not know much, but this might help.
I believe the original freeform modeler was created by Fori Owurowa. He later
went on to create Puppetmaster ( plugin for lightwave) which in turn became
project messiah (animation software).

http://www.projectmessiah.com/

just contact messiah and see if Fori is still around, he might have an extra copy
of 'Freeform'.

love

Thanks.  Yes you are right it is by this fellow.  I did an internet search and found it on something called "TOSEC" (not exactly sure what this is).  It looks interesting....it was recommended in one of the Aladdin 4d newsletters as it could do some interested sorts of modelling.  I'll have to try it out.  Thanks.
