Best video capture software for Vista x64?
« on: November 04, 2009, 09:15:19 PM »
I need to capture video from a few old VHS tapes through my firewire capture card, and I was wondering if someone could recommend a good software that is Vista 64-bit compatible?

A nice to have thing would be to be able to see if any frames were dropped during capture.

Thanks in advance!

I've used Win Movie Maker a few times with a really generic capture card on an XP system. Try that.
Amiga 3000D UP and running! Hear that clicking. 8)
Amiga 3000D & 4000D in storage sadly.

WinCap32, Capture32 by MS, Windows Movie Maker, Premiere "Light", Ulead VideoStudio 8 to 12..., ATI TV software if you have an ATI...
All depend of the codec you'll use !
