2) There work perfectly on Amiga games or so?

well not entirely, there is a problem of multiple key-presses   but I'm not sure if its because of PC keyb or adapter or both..
also there could be some other small problems with reset, delays etc.. IIRC

If you are going to use a PC keyboard or do some fixing yourself for the Amiga 1200, try this out:

The Amiga 500/1000 cable connecting to the keyboard can be cut and adapted for the Amiga 1200 and you'll only have to use the green and white wire on the cable (kbclk/kbdata) since the ground is already there on the joystick connector.   This should minimize the number of connections you have to solder for the Amiga 1200.

If you run the MPDOS software on a small laptop, it's just as light as using a PC keyboard.  The keyboard and mouse will work perfectly on all software since it's a hardware level simulation.  I tried it on Marble Madness, Zany Golf, and some others that directly acess the hardware.

I have experienced the same problem on Sinclair Spectrums, where the keyboard and its connector is just one big plastic film with electric traces on them. When the film grows old (Speccys are older than Amigas), they crumble. I did like CDE_MusiX and cut the crumbled piece of the connecting film, and it was too short to reach the motherboard connector.

The solution:

Desolder the keyboard connector from the motherboard and solder a ribbon cable between the connector and the motherboard. The connector will now reach the keyboard again.

Well... I have to desolder the keyboard from the motherboard? It's easy to say! And, I haven't know good how to do it. Btw now I've look again the keyboard connector, and i see that ribbon is TFU! I have only the plastic connectors (green and white), no ribbon!

PS: For that damage, I should buy a new replacement keyboard. Seeing it again, I've noted is better buy a new replacement keyboard because it conserves it's tradition. But I'm afraid it, everytime I open my AMIGA and detach the cable, i can damage the ribbon cable as first; exists a mode to protect the ribbon cable?

Hey people! I'm back there! Sorry if I've missed you those days... :(

I want to tell you that I've resolved this problem by buying a new keyboard membrane, dismounting the keyboard and putting in the membrane that arrived! And, I've received a bonus UK Keyboard too, that I didn't expected! :D
