« on: October 23, 2009, 01:10:04 PM »
I have a load of ADF images and wanted to use them on my Amiga 500 which is the 1.3 roms.

Is there anyway i can connect my PC to the Amiga and put them back on to floppy discs and if so where can i get it from.

Thanks

Amiga explorer form cloanto , but you will need a null modem cable

and then you can use a prog from aminet , forget its name to write adfs back to amiga disks.  if you have stock ram though might have an issue

Adf2Disk is the program from Aminet ... I used to use it along with Amiga explorer and a null modem cable on my old A500 with 512mb chip + 512mb fast ram and Kickstart 2.04 .

Worked great .

The easiest way though , would be to use an A600 or A1200 along with a PCMCIA Compact Flash reader and just transfer from PC to Amiga on Compact flash .

Just remember ADF2DISK ... Brilliant program .  There is another one but forgot the name .

Here you go:
http://adfsender.stoeggl.com/adfsenderterminal/methods.html

That's what I've been doing.  Works fine.

Once you get the program to your Amiga (that page tells you how), transwarp and ADFSender do the trick nicely.

All you need is a WB disk with the "type" command at a minimum, a PC and a null modem cable.
