a problem which annoys me by now:
after opening a folder on workbench with large contents (>20 icons) and partially in ibrowse or mui the mousepointer/system freezes for 1-2 seconds AFTER the HDD access (the light is out then).
is that a known issue and is there an explanation for it?
with scout/snoopdos i don't find anything useful describing this issue...
the problem is also in winuae (without JIT) as i have a backup of the same contents of my real amiga partitions running there. so a hardware fault (PSU) can be excluded!
config: A4000 3640 18MB IDE 10GB HDD, SmartFilesystem (problem was in FFS too as i can remember, but not that notable) :angry:
