It was well won.  England won it with their bowling on the second day when Broad bowled fantastically and ripped through our "top" batsmen.  It was always going to be a toss not to loose and true to form Ponting did.
But it wasn't the pitch, but great bowling that won the final test and the series.
Congratulations go to the Poms.

Music is food for the ears. Sport is food for the body. To challenge our senses and body at the echelon is to be most alive. If the world followed this ethos instead of the permeated negative; "my situation is someone else’s fault" .. Well.. what a place we would be in.

Gertsy.

A game for gentlemen in right minded countries.

Also was well played all round - could have easily gone the other way and at quite a few points during the test it seemed to be in the bag for our antipodean cousins.

Well played!

The long and short of it is that the commonwealth was set up as a means to maintain indirect influence (lol) but also to help facilitate trade and maintain good relations.

Cricket... It's a game from a bygone era that still maintains popularity for reasons unknown. It is a fun game in of itself and sport on the whole tends to promote good relations, especially when they (often) hand us back our backsides on a plate :D

The warnings were there for the vid link as it contains a smattering of swearing so thought it best for those folk who visit the site at work.
