FS Prelude Sound Card with break out cable
« on: July 10, 2009, 02:38:49 AM »
I had this working for about a month before my A4000D motherboard stopped booting. It should still work fine but I can't test it.

$80 plus shipping.

From http://prelude.act-net.com/

The prelude Z-II is a high quality soundcard for all Amiga with Zorro-II slots that offer full duplex recording and playback in 16bit up to 64khz. Prelude Z-II

    * Zorro II compliant interface (full size)
    * 2kB FIFO cache onboard with fast, synchronous Zorro II data transfer (0-waitstate!)
    * Crystal Semiconductor Sound Codec 4231A
    * Multilayer board with EMI filtering and surge protection on all inputs and outputs
    * High quality analogue part with separate ground plane
    * Full Duplex ability
    * 14 different sampling rates from 5.51 to 48 kHz, including 11.025, 22.05, 32 and 44.1 kHz, up to 64(!)khz
    * Hardware supported codings: ALaw, uLaw, 16Bit, 8Bit, ADPCM
    * 1 low impedance stereo output for high quality HiFi equipment or active speakers
    * 4 external stereo inputs: LINE, AUX1, AUX2 and MIC with pre-amplifier
    * 1 mono input/output with built in amplifier for optional internal speaker support
    * Internal inputs for connection to Amiga audio, CDROM audio, speaker out

The prelude series is fully AHI compatible and supports all software that is based on this audio system. In the near future the card will be supported by the new Amiga RTA (retargable audio system)  ARTAS that is also developed by A.C.T.
I think, Therefore - Amiga....

Shipping info sent and picture added to my photo album of the card.

If you are still interested in the HD floppy on Amibay just post a note there as per forum rules. I'd be happy to send it to you as well. Shipping would change if I package the two together.  ;^)

If the deal with Dragster falls through and assuming you are in the U.S., I'll take this off your hands!
