Word Me Up XXL is now fully localized in Hungarian. Being a truly international game, Word Me Up XXL is available in ten languages: French, English, Italian, German, Spanish, Swedish, Russian, Latin American Spanish, Polish and Hungarian. This first update also adds improvements with Spanish translations.

Don't forget to register your copy to get it. Note that we're looking for someone that could help us with a Portugese translation. Game is already available for AmigaOS 4.0 and a MorphOS version is in progress (70% done).

Some bill-boards are integrated to game, as you can see there. If you've created software or game for MorphOS, please contact us to benefit from these free adverts.

You can download a free demo containing 4 levels:

How much different are the spellings of words in Spanish compared to "Latin American Spanish"? Any more different than English and "American American English"?

Hello,

Quoted from the translator that did Latino Spanish translation:
"Hello, I sent you the spanish latin american translation.. There wasn't much changes to the original spanish translation since words like: File, Computer, you, them, is not used. but the word "partido" is only used in latin america por Soccer game, or any other sports.. "Juego de Futbol" is being replaced by "Partido de Futbol".. the same as in spain. But not words like: English,  Spain Spanish,  Latin American Spanish.. File = Fichero = ArchivoComputer = Ordenador = ComputadoraYou (as many) = Vosotros = UstedesYou want = vos quereis = Tu quieresStart a game = Comenzar una partida = Comenzar el juego Just to name a few....... Most of the words I mentioned where not used on the manual except the last one, but it is understandable and acceptable because like I said, the word "Partido" is being used more often now in Mexico and other latin american countries.. As far as I know, portugues is also diferent on Brazil and some words that are in Portugal Portuguese sound funny in Brazil's portuguese..  For us a File
if translated as Fichero.. would be a prostitutes house, while a fichero in Spain is a Ficha or a file, which is a correct word..  The same happens to mexican words in Spain.. For us a Tortilla is a thin peace o corn flour.. while for spain a tortilla is a egg homelet. The most funny that I found very often is my last name.. Partida means Departure.. But in mexico and many latin american countries, partida means Cutted.. Cut a Cake = Partir un pastel.Cuted thing = Cosa Partida. Partida as departure is not very used.. "Me voy" o "me retiro" is more used... as I'm living or I'm gone... instead of I am departuring now... "

Thanks for your interest
