Mine tends to be a bit flakey and only works well after warming up. A redesign would be welcome (and sounds necessary based on past comments re: component availability and lead content).

OK, I just won a mint looking C128, floppy drive and monitor on eBay.  When is that MMC64 due out and is Amikit taking pre-orders?    :-)

Not bad for $70!

Very interesting stuff -- hope you're having a good holiday!

FWIW, I was a bit puzzled by the Viprinet announcement until I found their site and realized "multichannel" and "VPN" (though I don't doubt it supports conventional VPN protocols as well) refers to what's often called "line bonding."  Hope that clears it up for any others. :)

Glad to hear from Individual computers again!  Togather with A-Cube you're the only company who truly delivers in the hardware Amiga market!  Since it seems you're going to have more time on your hands next year (having finished your big project) would you PLEASE consider releasing the A600 accelerator you developed?  From the pictures posted it looked really well built and professional.  It is surely a dream come true for A600 owners and classic Amigan users.  Being the only new Amiga accelerator available for sale, I'm sure sales figures will surprise you.  I envision Amigans actually snapping up second hand A600s just for this accelerator!  Well, then, hoping my post has made you re-think your position on this product, Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year!

HMM...

Will Clone-A be available with AGA chips?
Would it be possible to sell a version with a 060 instead of a 68000?

Jens,

Happy holidays!  Your post hints at issues I've had with the MMC64 and an updated "A500" style C64.  If I go beyond v1.01 of the bios the device no longer properly reads or writes .d64 files.

Looking forward to the updated version, and of course the Clone-A!

Bob
