multisync monitor

Hi all,
Besides the microvitech monitors, which others companies made monitors which could sync down to 15khz ? A complete refernce would be appreciated since I am looking for one and I know these are old and hard to find but how knows what ?

There are a number of different brands, I belive I got one of the strangest ones... a Mitsubishi Multisync monitor that not even Windows knows what is (sadly though it's started to mess up and not all screenmodes work anymore, for instance 1024*768 works great in 24bit but if I want 16 or 8 bit I need to lower it to 800*600, weird stuff... dun ask). ;-)

Try setting a lower refresh rate. The smaller bitdepths require less from the ramdac, so they can be rendered with higher refreshes - perhaps the OS automatically increases the rate and it goes out of your display's spec.

One that works, and is absolutely great is the
NEC Multisync 3D

search on google and you should find the spec.

I have one, and i had it since 10 yrs, and it´s still sharp and perfect colours.

The magnetic fields of this monster would make Jean-michel jarre green of envy.   :-D  :-D

I have a CTX model AD-1970.  That one works perfectly with all Amiga screenmodes.  It's not the original model number.  Some other company modified the original CTX monitor to work with Amiga computers and gave it the new model number.  You can see it HERE.

Apart from the NEC Multisync 3D, there is also the older Multisync II. Avoid the Multisync 2A, since it won't sync all the way down.
NEC's main contender is Eizo, who have made one or two multisync monitors, in the Flexscan range.
Idek Iiyama has also made a range of multisync monitors, of which I've got the 21" version.
Telenova is a rebadged Mitsubishi which will at least handle 15 KHz in digital colour.
IMP is another brand of which some models are Amiga compatible.
TV-capable Nokia monitors will also handle 15 KHz.

Can you be more precise?  I've been looking at NEC and ViewSonic and haven't found one that supports 15KHz yet.  (I'll keep looking in the meantime).
