Hockey is also popular in Pakistan, India, Australia, Netherland etc.

But the NHL isn't really into field hockey.  :-P

> Perhaps they should sponsor CHL, not N.H.L.

The CHL is only a small minor league, the NHL is the big league in Canada. :-)

WHOA!!!

Now THAT's good news!!!

Where?  All I see is Vaporware announcement.  Now if NHL (no, I am not a hockey fan) actually promotes it when/if it comes out, then there might be a need for a second look.  Till then, I'll believe it when NHL gets their big royality check from Amiga Inc.  Then I can nag about Amiga Inc screwing over their former employees who won a law suit against them and who still has not paid them off their court awarded monies.

Does this mean they'll reincarnate Bethesda Softwork's Wayne Gretzky Hockey? I sure hope so, that's always been my favorite hockey game on the Amiga. The best thing about it was that you could pull the goalie after he decided to freeze the puck and he'd take the puck with him off ice. The rest of the players would then start skating around aimlessly and the ref was too dumb to figure out what happened and allowed play to continue! Ya gotta love those quirky bugs! :-)

And yes, now with the Amiga - NHL team up I'm sure once and for all Amiga will become a house hold name here in Canada. :-D

Assuming this doesn't fall through, this will be very good for Amiga Inc.

You really believe this sh1t? Amiga Inc are dirty stinking crooks who will try anything to swindle as much money as they can out of mugs. The sooner people stop banging their bishop over them, the sooner they will die off.
