32bit icons
« on: October 20, 2003, 06:19:06 AM »
3 years ago i bought Mac Addict, to use some of the stuff on the CD with Fusion  They did a feature on creating your own mac 32 bit icon with photoshop.  i remember saying to myself just how pointless this was and what a waste of computer resources this was ie fritterware.  Today, I still think that!  32 bit icons will not allow me to interface with my computer any more effectively.

Efficiency won't be improved, that's right.
But it looks much better.
The old 8 Bit Icons are too ugly in my opinion.
The true colour icons are not that much bigger, Pegasos and AmigaOne have enough power to handle them without any problems.
And with todays hard disk sizes it doesn't matter at all.
