Report of the Bath OS4 Roadshow
« on: December 15, 2003, 03:32:04 AM »
Finally, my reports online, take a butchers at www.ryus-reports.webhop.net for the full review and pictures.

Took longer than anticipated because the html is all hand written, wasnt satisfied with the freeware photoalbum generators on the amiga.

Thanks Ryu,
Good report :)

I enjoyed the day enormously. Now, a few of you who know me will know that about a year ago partly-jumped ship over to MacOS X land *ducks*. My main reason was that OS X is here, available (and OK I love the 17" widescreen iMac) and working in a stable form...

...The Bath Amiga show has convinced me that the next computer I'll get will be the AmigaOne and not another Mac - why? Although Ethernet, USB and decent graphics cards all being available from the outset (without extra adaptors and daughter boards) are a Very Good Thing (TM), the main reason is the hugely positive attitude that Alan, Fleecy and all the demonstrators of AOne boxes showed in Bath. This in combination with the ease and beauty of Amiga OS 4 (take OS 3 and add liberal sprinklings of fairy dust to make it fly) can only lead to the conclusion that the AmigaOne + OS 4 is a superb buy.

Put simply, after over a year of Amiga-doldrums, I've been reminded why I got my 1st A1200 in the early 1990s and still use it today :)

Roll on the AmigaOne!
