Ironstone Partners Unveil New C-64 Logo
« on: August 09, 2003, 04:38:07 PM »
"In line with Ironstone's extensive plans for the Commodore 64 platform, which it recently licensed from Tulip Computers NV, the company today unveiled the new Commodore 64 and C-64 logos that will be used on all future Commodore 64 products."

Check out the logos here ...

I'll have to admit that they look pretty good.  But I'm still confused on what they're actually going to release.  Actual machines and/or are they going to just sell C-64 emulators to run on other computers??

 :-?  :-o

I think they're too heavy--so much so that they felt it necessary to add an anchor to the lower left-hand corner. Without it, the logo would fall over. I'm not a graphic designer, but that's how they appear to me. . . . I prefer a flat look.

Amazing how much better an old logo can look with 5 minutes of spare time, and a couple Photoshop effect layers.   ;-)

Seriously, I'm glad they didn't change it too much.  It looks good.

Maybe they are working behind the scene to sell/license the C1, that would explain what they are up to.
