Presentation report of C= One prototype
« on: January 08, 2003, 04:15:22 PM »
On the 21st of December the Dutch Commodore usergroup held a meeting where a prototype of the Commodore One was presented.

A report can be read and seen here.

Here is an article which appeared in the German magazine ComputerBild about Jeri Ellsworth (the creator of the C= One). The article is in German and 400KB big.

For what’s it’s worth I have been fortunate enough to met Jeri and I have the UTMOST of admiration and respect for her.  Being able to do a project like this would be my DREAM JOB!!  And the fact that she’s updating my ALL TIME favorite computer is just the icing on the cake!!  Once these systems become available (not just demo systems) I’ll be the first in line to order one!!  The CommodoreOne ROCKS!!

Hell I’m going to start working on my new website www.CommodoreOneSource.com ;-)

Jeri - YOU RULE!!

I'm wondering. It's not officially named Commodore One but C One isn't it? I mean with trademarks and stuff which are still property of Tulip Computers (AFAIK anyway).

AFAIK Jeri's partner, Individual Computers, has been negotiating with Tulip for the rights to use the name.

@Onetrack

LOL! Actually what I find amazing is how smart she is. We C= nostalgia freaks are lucky she's here. It's truly amazing what she has done almost single handed.
