Microsoft Sued for Stealing Phone Secrets

British mobile phone maker Sendo said on Monday it had filed a suit in a U.S. federal court against its former partner Microsoft, accusing it of stealing its technology and customers; click here for more..

Well at least there's a "valid" reason for another Amiga DE setback.  I don't think the A inc. guy's would have seen this comming.  I wonder what exactly Microsoft did (not enough details given). It must have been something really bad for Sendo to dump years of work and join forces with their competitors.

Sendo must surely be referring indirectly to Amiga Anywhere !!

I can see this damaging Amiga !!

Now this is something i can believe hope sendo suceed in sueing this crapware maker i was thinking of buying one of these sendo phones it looked quite cool and its british, everyone owns nokias to common for me.thats why i have a sagem myx5  ;-)

Hmmm...*secret* plan? ;-)

My only surprise is that anyone ever trusts Microsoft in the first place. The rewards are high, I suppose, but there are just so many companies who have been stepped on in the same way.

As for the lawsuit, don't expect Microsoft to be quaking in their boots about it. Even if Sendo get $300m, it'll be nothing that Microsoft can't make with the technology they've stolen. It's a tried and tested tactic, one of the advantages of being in a monopolistic position. The US government should have decisively acted against them years ago. But they won't ever, and we'll all have to suffer.
