Just to get the conversation unto some more
interesting stuff than the delay of the announcment
I repost what I said in a thread. Feel free to comment
(like I really had to say that!) ;-)
-------

Personally I didn't remember them splitting their
efforts into two separare units, but then again, its
been a long time sinve I read the last update
Makes sene anyway.

It is a little annoying that the "heavy hitters" aren't
announced by name. Will this come up at the show
perhaps? Equally so with the other names not yet
mentioned. Bill should really learn his lesson and
not announce announcments. It has burned him
several times already.

The phone rumors were apparently true, albeit not
having anything to do with AInc closing down as so
eagerly prophesized (I wish I had the time to look up
those "informed" posters, so I could run it down their
throats. We should set up a black list of those guys.)

AOS4 is nearly complete - what we all knew, but first
now have some sort of official statement on.
Personally I'll focus on what Ben has to say at the
show - shouldn't anyone be reporting from that soon?

Amiga DE seems to at least make moderate
progress. I like it that they keep at it. I would really
like to hear a little more day-to-day news in this
area, but then again I suppose it would be mostly
of developer interest as of yet.
The SmartPhone packs is a novelty. Don't know
much of the SmartPhone (don't even have a
cellphone), but content is always a good thing,

Let's hope now that Amiga Inc:s relocation and
"transition into a delivering company" will upgrade
their PR relations as well... They are going to need it.

Come on guys and gals .... this should be a happy time.  Let's not spoil it with petty bickering.

At last Amiga Inc. has posted some news on their web site.  It may not be enough news, but it is news none the less.   :-D

And I also received a confirmation note ...

"Greetings Amiga Club Member ..."

It feels kind of nice  :-D

This could be the result of either excitement or a lack of respect. Either way I think Wayne should have waited. It doesn't matter whether others had already violated those 12 hours or not. You are responsible for your own actions, not theirs. I think you should have waited.
Ummm.  When news is posted to us, we post it.  I do not receive said newsletter from theBillandFleecyshow, Inc.  As such, how was *I* supposed to know there was any sort of moronic moritorium on posting the news?

Remember, I no longer meet their qualifications of "blind and blond cheerleader", so I am not privy to information on such stupid decisions on their part.

I think this is excellent news, and I eagerly anticipate the fulfillment; but you know, this morning I got an email. The email was from Amiga Inc. announcing the update to the club members. It said that we were being told 12 hours before the general public would be told.
:-( While I have received no such e-mail, nor any acknowledgment whatsoever regarding my membership.  The US post Office has confirmed that Amiga, Inc. cashed my money order months ago, but there has been no confirmation from Amiga themselves.  Sigh.

Only PocketPC? I sure hope that they are going to support other platforms soon ( PalmOS )...
Other than that, good news!
