The photo report of the Finnish Amiga Users Group annual meeting is now online, and it can be downloaded directly from Aminet (directory pix/misc, 4.6 MB). The Aminet release includes both Finnish and English captions.

I would love to see an Amiga Inc. supporter try to put a positive spin on this.

I feel sorry for people who come to these events to show off the AmigaOne. It must be a depressing experience.

BTW the reference to "December" only refers to the AmigaOne with the G3 soldered on the motherboard, not AOS4.

@strobe

Its a strobe post!

@finland
"Chorus : Finland, Finland,  Finland.
         The country where I want to be,
         Pony trekking or camping,
         Or just watching TV,
         Finland, Finland, Finland.
         It's the country for me.

Verse : You're so near to Russia.
        So far from Japan,
        Quite a long way from Cairo,
        Lots of miles from Vietnam.

Chorus : Finland, Finland, Finland.
         The country where I want to be,
         Eating breakfast or dinner,
         Or snack lunch in the Hall,
         Finland, Finland, Finland.
         Finland has it all.

Verse: You're so sadly neglected,
       And often ignored.
       A poor second to Belgium,
       When going abroad.

Chorus : Finland, Finland, Finland.
         The country where I quite want to be,
         Your mountains so lofty,
         Your treetops so tall,
         Finland, Finland, Finland.
         Finland has it all.

Repeat : Finland, Finland, Finland.
         The country where I quite want to be,
         Your treetops so tall,
         Finland, Finland, Finland.
         Finland has it all.

Fade : Finland has it all ..."
Hate figure. :lol:

Well, noone "came to this event to show off the AmigaOne". Gentle Eye was going there anyway, and brought one with him. And Alan lent him his XE to sprite things up a bit. I don't see how that's depressing. I just wish someone had taken some USEABLE BLOODY PHOTOS of me booting the SAME BLOODY XE the week before in Sweden (you can see it on one of Erik's pictures at )erik's picture site, but since it's a crappy picture, someone's gonna claim I'm faking it again... *sigh*

What's with you idiot? Why do you feel the need to throw #### at people every time you open your inferior soldered-on mouth? :-x

Relax Olegil, don't worry about fudslingers, just keep going doing what must be done, don't waste time being angry at fudslingers. If you do'n respond to them, they might go away someday...

If you ever gete the time to put up some good pictures, please do :-)

Well, if that is the case, then that is pretty unfortunate.

The response from the MorphOS camp to invivations (and that does not mean one has to come in person - user groups usually can help a lot, and for free) has been far more encouraging lately if you look at the UG show scene...

Thendic France certainly flew there to show off their product.

@jtsiren

And do you want to know where they are (were) today ?

At the "BeGeistert"-BeOS-show in Düsseldorf   "fishing"  for people
with an open mind to anything non-mainstream.

Those are the places were you can find really new users/developers.
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else
