BurnIT CD Questions
« on: October 12, 2003, 05:23:11 PM »
I just bought 'BurnIT' CD Rom software.
I have a problem with it.
I'm just tring to see how it works.
I'm tring to burn a disk on the fly.

I keep getting these errors.....

first....read data.......'Error, voluum write protected'
Its READING a cd so why would it need the write
protect off?? (seems dumb to me)

then next....' SCSI unit reports error while
                       WriteSession.. Illegal Request
                       Command sequence error.'

I assume since it didn't perform the read sequence
it is giving the write error.

I doing exactly as the quick start docs say (I think)

So whats going on here?????

Hmmm... You gotta be kidding.....
I'm not saying you're wrong,
its just hard to beleave they
would do something like that
and not state it.
Its my understanding its still
being supported and upgraded.
If its not compatable with
OS 3.5 or 3.9 they should say so.
I don'tremember seeing anything
like that.

Anyone else have these problems??

try setting the read and write steps down to about 15 or so.
