Vesalia problems?
« on: September 26, 2003, 01:53:22 PM »
I ordered a 1260 board from Vesalia a month ago and was told it would take about 5 days to reach me in Florida.  It has never arrived and my email is not being returned for at least days.  Two emails this week are unanswered.

Has anyone else had problems with Vesalia like this?  Does anyone know what is up with them?

Is Vesalia Number 1?

God made apes, but he used a human to do it.
Man fit the plan, apes are here to prove it.
We can walk like a man, talk like a man, do what humans do.
Yes god made apes but a human supplied the glue.

I ordered Viper 1260 from there a little over a month ago. It took about one week to ship.

They are not very active in replying emails. My driver disk was broken and I asked them send me the files via email. Still no reply  :-(

I am number 1:-D

Where are you in Florida? There is still a possibility we will be starting a Florida club, are you interested?
Someone has to state the obvious and that someone is me!

Red:

I'm in Tackyhassle.  I may be interested.  I use A1200s with MC 68Ks.  No PPCs or A1s for me, I'm Neanderthal.

I do most of my own hard- and software work but have an extraordinary tech nearby who can usually set me straight when I cannot figure it out myself or thru these forums.  I can always use new contacts since I'm always screwing something up as I attempt to expand.

Thanks for letting me know.

You, you know, you know my number - Look up my name.  (Sorry, Beatles fans)

Well, I have to say that their communication
leaves something to be desired.  I sent them
several emails requesting to purchase
ScanQuix5 USB and received 0 replies.

Hmmm, I just ordered an IDE adapter from them
and they were prompt with emails. Make sure
you talk to Oliver (order@vesalia.de), he has
definately been good to deal with in my case.

Shipping from Europe can also be a pain, sometimes
things arrive in a week, other times it can take a
month or more. :(

Happened to me, took ages to wait, never replied any emails, net even
one in which i canceled my order, but then one day they said they were
ready to ship my order, but ofcourse then it was too late, I had got
my stuff elsewhere long ago and had to cancel the Vesalia order
(again), and it seems they accepted that, I have not received
anything. Definitely the wrong way they run their business.

@ ALL

Vesalia is a "so called" reseller . . . and nothing more.

You don't expect post sele assistance from Vesalia.

If you live in Europe, KDH, VirtuaWorks are very professional and reliable.
