Which CD Writer?

I'm looking at buying a CD writer that I can swap between my Amiga and PC.  

Does anyone have any advice on specific models, and/or software that I should look for on the Amiga side?

Just in case it's relevent, my A1200 is fitted with a four way IDE buffer, a 40Mhz '040 and a Mediator.  

I'd be interested to know what you guys think.

I don't know about Amiga suitability, but my Teac W524E (40R 10RW 24W) IDE has served me well, not a single toasted CD, and runs silent.

- edit - as it is probably relevant - 24xR = 4 minute burn.

I have one of those Lite-on 52x burners. It's incredibly fast, around 2:30 for a 640 mb CD, and very reliable.  Never tried it on a real Amiga, but according to the review mentioned by amigamad, it should do nicely.

In my a1200 tower i have an old 2 speed memorex cd writer a rebadged yamaha . My pc has a 24 speed liteon and i have a noisy phillips 24 speed drive i  only used in a pc .I also have a 4 speed teac very good quality drive  .Cd writers are very cheap now i paid a 130 pound for my liteon when it was first out and it is also a very good writer. :-)
