The second public betaversion of AmIDE is released now!
The most important new feature aside from some bugfixes is, that the complete compiler functions are separatable in shared libraries now.
That means that third party programmers are able to write their own, so called module, following a defined API to make their own compiler usable with
AmIDE. The already in version 0.2beta included SAS/C-module is now also seperated in a shared library and also the source code is included in it. This example source code should give programmers the ability to easily make other compilers useable with AmIDE.
Beside this important feature AmIDE was modified to fully use the new NListtree MUI class instead of the old Listtree.mcc. For the next releases it is planned to get AmIDE more stable by fixing many bugs and also integrate some simple TextEditor functions via the TextEditor.mcc class. Also the direct use of GoldED with AmIDE is planned but depends on the user feedback and if it is really needed.
About AmIDE:AmIDE is a so-called "Integrated Development Environment". With such a
IDE you can manage all your software projects, you can edit source
files and also directly compile the whole project sources. As the
graphical userinterface AmIDE uses MUI.
