A3000/2000 slot covers maybe? - now with artists rendition
« on: March 18, 2009, 11:46:12 PM »
I don't have a picture of them but I do have some silvery shiny metal things that look like covers for the slot holes in the back of computers. Since they came with Amiga stuff, perhaps the are for Amiga's.

Do the slot covers on any Amiga model have a number 8 on the down pointing end? There is a circular hole above the 8.

Either way, I have 16 of them that I don't want. You can have them all for price of shipping. Probably $5 for USA. Ask me for non-USA shipping quotes.

EDIT: It looks like this: The dark gray parts are supposed to indicate some third dimension.  :oops:

@weirdami

I can take them if shipping cost of the drive and the A3K daughterboard does not increase much by including these.

Cheers!

The next level up from the weight adds $4. If you think these are what you need, I'll put them in, too. I can't promise that they are Amiga compatible, though.

Thanks mate, the money for shipping of the 3000D daughterboard and the floppy drive has been sent!

Thank you!

I've got a bunch of these too, from several A2000's. None of them had an 8, just the circle. Maybe these are from a 3000 or 4000. Same exact shape and design though. Which seems to be the standard for even PeeCee stuff.

Cool.

If anyone wants them, let me know. I'll ship them to you for free, if you make a donation to AO. (Wayne is not affiliated with this offer.) If you'd rather just pay me the shipping, then we can work out what it would be and do the Paypal thing.

Yeah, the dimensions are the same for a standard PC (ISA or PCI) slot cover and the Amiga Zorro slot cover.  I stole a few out of a junk PC case to have a matching set on my A4000 ages ago.  :lol:
