Hi Guys,

I'm always interested to read what you find out there. Well it was my turn as to my surprise I saw something advertised just 5 miles from me.....

Yep! I rang the seller, Nigel, and asked him to please put my name on it and told him that I wouldn't be making him any offers. I was surprised to see that he had fitted an IDE port beside the mouse port.......

and an IDE lead was coming out of the rear of the CDrom drive..........

I've just put it all together on top of the cooker (as you do :-D)...............

and after putting a few files into its HDD, this A1200 can now see a 1GB Compact Flash card on the PCMCIA slot and also the CDrom drive which has an OS3.9 CD inserted.............

That was great work Nigel 8-)

He knew that he could have got more for this A1200, but he just wanted it to go to a good home :-)

Nice deal.  He was very kind to offer to you for "symbolic" amount, rather than charge you market price.

Hey A4000_Mad, as others' have said, great deal you got...
1200's are nice machines, especially when they have a turbocard, you might want to get a 32MB SIMM for it.

Can't do that anymore... my new cooker has Teflon-coated grates, everything just slides off ...

Not bad! A decent price, lots of extras, and a decent modification. That's really scamming a deal.
Amiga 3000D UP and running! Hear that clicking. 8)
Amiga 3000D & 4000D in storage sadly.
