Cybervision 64/3D scandoubler broken :/

Well after two years, I still have broken CV64/3D scandoubler. The monitor shows nothing.
Please have a look at it here , see anything suspicious?
I only notice that the VGA connector is slightly 'chopped' and some of those tiny SMD components seem to be resoldered.

Should it show up (with ID) in early startup menu when used without CV64/3D?

Sorry, but I'm not going to remove my CV64/3D as I've just fitted a new HDD and got OS4 going :-)

But I've got both a CV64/3D and your scandoubler in the A4000 at the moment. There is also an Oktagon SCSI card in the top Zorro slot. A VGA monitor is plugged directly onto the scandoubler. I just switched it on from cold while keeping both mouse buttons held. Shortly after which I saw the 'Amiga Early Startup Control' screen.

When I clicked on 'Expansion Board Diagnostic...' I saw:-

(2092 is the Oktagon SCSI card)

hm, 8512/67 seems to be Cybervision64/3D, I get that too but only when connecting the whole card (and it  also matches id on database_site).

BTW, 8152 does not seem to be in database_site are you sure its not 8512 (MK3)?

Sorry orange, 8152 was a typo and should have been 8512 :oops:

I blame in on being up till 3AM sorting out the jumpers and setting up my new OS4 hard drive :-D

I actually switched on two A4000s to try to quickly determine the numbers for you. However, I forgot that I had removed the Jaz drive from the rear socket of the Oktagon SCSI card on one of them, and also that I had fitted a Tandem card in it, so as to able to use a CF card.

Looks to me now like the Oktagon SCSI card must be 2092 as it is present in both, and the Picasso II is 2167. This leaves  8512/67 and 8512/100. I don't have a MK3 but I do have a CSPPC in A4000b. Hope you can figure it out mate :-)

Stuff in the video slot doesn't register as an installed board. Well, at least the Video Toaster and my Micronik scandoubler don't.

It won't show up in the startup menu. But here's a wild stab - does yours have a wire soldered on the board? Seems some did, others did not (none of the pics on amiga.resource or bboah show it). Maybe yours had one, but got knocked off at some point.

i'm under the impression that the video slot is kinda "passive". it does have data lines, but they seem to be duplicates of the parallel and serial port.
otherwise it is all digital and analogue video lines, and audio, (plus power and gound).
nothing i've plugged in to the video slot (dblscan A4000, Opalvision) has shown up in the boards list in early startup.

so as it doesn't show, i wouldn't worry. "this is normal (tm)"
