What are the USB options with the Mediator?

If I go with a tower, how would I access the PCMCIA slot? I only use it to read CF cards, but if I had USB that wouldn't be necessary.

@ wurzel: Thanks very much for the info and link. That's too cool. And since my accelerator won't fit in the A1200 case, and I have plenty of PCI hardware laying around gathering dust - tower power it is!

BTW: That's a rock'n tower setup that you have!

Thanks, it took me a while to get and the 1st time I powered it up was a heartstopper. I'm not an electrician or anything  :-o

Anyway, I got it working so now I'm on a second one, but with an Eyetech Tower, where the power supply works differently.

Just need another Mediator

With Mediator, you can use a Spider but unless you already have a registered Poseidon stack, you won't be able to use it more than 30mins at a time.

An alternative is the Subway board (try Amigakit.com) or a Deneb (not sure about this one).

The PCMCIA slot can be accesses by a right angle converter, but unless you leave the case off, you can't access it easily. I don't know of an extension cable; my slot is unused as I have a Spider with reg'd Poseidon and I have 4 USB porets. It works very well; it's a shame you can't register any more.
