Zorro III bus
« on: February 17, 2009, 08:45:42 PM »
Hi all,

Is there a way to test the Zorro bus in the A4000D? I have a Deneb card but can oly get it to work by forcing it to use Zorro II. If I try and use it in PIO and DMA modes the Amiga hangs and then reboots.

I have Superbuster 9 but the Deneb should work with it. Deneb is fully up-to-date, Poseidon V4.2, latest Luciferin and I've updated the firmware.

Other than Buster what other chips are there that could be failing? I was thinig Ramsay might be on the blink (DMA transfers) how can I test it?

Any suggestions much appreciated.

A3000T, Cybervision64, CSMKII 060; A3000D, PicassoII, Z3 Fastlane; A2000D, 040, PicassoII; A4000D, A1200, Blizzard 030 MKIV  (not working - next project)

Any other cards attached at the same time? Try and reorganize them and test. Have you tested it all alone?
Although it perhaps doesn´t need SB11, but I would buy one as soon as possible, it can only be better.  :-)
