Javascripts deadly?
« on: January 28, 2009, 11:41:33 PM »
I'm having problems with websites using more or less any kind of javascript and have to run with javascript disabled.

Same happens with all browsers. IBrowse 2.4, AWeb 3.5.09 and old Voyager 3.3 all behave the same.

So, I'm starting to wonder if the problem is something else and not the browsers.

Not sure if it's all related to javascript only since for example AWeb crashes when I go to google.se but with IBrowse I can browse more or less any site if I have javascript disabled. Though, some sites crashes my computer anyway.

Anyone experiencing the same thing and/or know what might be the cause?

Maybe it IS time for a complete reinstallation. My AmigaOS/WB is more or less the same base as I started with when I got my first harddrive and installed 2.1 on it back in -92. Just updated and moved/copied to new harddrive after that...
