PPC Test Disk (WarpOS test)?
« on: January 22, 2009, 11:44:35 AM »
Has anyone gotten the WarpOS test on PPC Test Disk working?

Disk can be found from here:
http://powerup.amigaworld.de/index.php?lang=en&page=24

I can run the PowerUP test and it reports OK, but if I try to run WarpOS test it crashes it brings up the window where it says that the powerup library should be terminated and once I do that it crashes and gives a guru after reboot.

Then I added BPPCFix to the disk and tried again, but then it just crashes/reboots my computer when I try to run the WarpOS test.

How can it be that powerup tests OK, but warpos refuses to work in any way :(

The disk is for A4000 / CyberstormPPC only. To run it on A1200 / BlizzardPPC you have to replace the hardware libraries.

However, the disk does nothing but to run a little "hello world" program which was compiled for PowerUp and WarpUp respectively.

So if you have an installed Workbench and PPC programs run ok, then that is a much more accurate test than this disk.
