I have two 6.0 roms from an A590 are they compatible with the A2000-scsi+8 ?
 if they are is it worth replacing v1.0 with the v6.0

Hi.

You can't use roms from a Commodore SCSI card on a GVP scsi card. You need roms made by GVP or the special "guru" roms.

lastest GVP is 4.15 or 3.15 for your A2000-scsi+8

Look at ebay. And you will find some I belive.

------------------A M I G A----------------------
AmigaOne G3, 512MB Ram, 80GB HD, OS4.0
Pegasos II G4, 1GB Ram, 200GB HD MorphOS 2.2
A4000D PPC@233/060@50, 128MB Ram G-REX, Plus++
A4000T PPC@200/060@50, 128MB Ram Mediator, Plus++
Plus +++++++++++...

Check http://babel.de/amiga.html for what you need and contact an Amiga dealer for either a commercial Guru ROM (assuming they still have them) or help producing new GVP ROMs. Any current dealer--AmigaKit, Software Hut, Vesalia, et al--should be able to hook you up or point you in the right direction. Avoid eBay if you can. There are plenty of folks in the community who can help you out.
