Loadlin new_emubox? (Amithlon)

Hello Fellow Umilators!

 I am using Loadlin to boot Amithlon from a dos partition as in "loadlin @small"  After retrieving the new-contrib3b, I tried for the first time to replace the kernal with the new one.  I backed up "small" to "bu_small", edited "small" to: (pasted)

[color=0000FF]new_[/color]emubox.gz init=/linuxrc console_level=0 root=/dev/ram0 initrd=smallird.gz vga=769 ramdisk_size=2310 leavepages=5[color=0000FF]200[/color]

"bu_small:

emubox.gz init=/linuxrc console_level=0 root=/dev/ram0 initrd=smallird.gz vga=769 ramdisk_size=2310 leavepages=5000


Now, Loadlin says it can't find the disk image ?
"new_emubox.gz" is in the same msdos dir as "emubox.gz"

if I enter "loadlin @bu_small"  I get the old kernal up just fine.   What am I missing here ?:-?  :-?

I'm not using loadlin here, so this is just a guess, but are you sure it supports long filenames? Try renaming new_emubox.gz and see if that helps.

I'm not using loadlin either, but I remember something about this being discussed on the mailing lists some time ago. I think the point about filenames is relevant, so you may want to rename emubox.gz to old_emubox.gz and copy new_emubox.gz to emubox.gz.
