Where there any ‘white’ version of the A500/A500+?

Hi,

Sometimes while on eBay I come across an A500/A500+ which looks more white then the rest of the A500/A500+ family. Is this because their case has gone from some treatment or actually Commodore released some A500/A500+ which where white like the A1200?

AFAIK A500's only came in their usual beige/creme coloured case (someone correct me if I'm wrong). The link you provided shows what I believe to be regular (i.e. non-white) A500's. They just look brighter due to the way the photograph was taken.

That might be a photo effect due specific lighting, maybe a intended "photoshoping" or, IMHO, Amiga being protected from daylight.

20-yr old polycarbonate is prone to yellowing since some of stabilizing components actually change chemical structure when exposed to UV light and perhaps oxidation.
