CDTV compatibility question

Does anybody know whether the CDTV is compatible with software for the Amiga 500/1000/2000/3000? Also, does the standard 9 pin mouse and 5 pin keyboard plug into the CDTV or does it take a special keyboard and mouse? Do I need some type of adapter to make the mouse and keyboard work?

Yes. It's as compatible as a comparably-spec'ed regular Amiga.

Regular Amiga mice and keyboards need an adapter. I don't know where to get one.
