Playstation pad adapter
« on: November 22, 2008, 12:03:49 AM »

Hi guys, i've heard around there is some kind of adapter to attach a DualShock PS pad to the miggy having the same functionality as a CD32 pad, plus (???) using the analog sticks as a mouse?

I dunno.

Any idea where could i get something like that? If it really exists, or if it really works...

Cheers!

I bought it in ebay last year. Comes from a Polland guy. Very fast and friendly person. He make many auctions in ebay and i saw that few people bought it. After this never more see this product in ebay.

This product is fantastic. Comes with autofire, emulates mouse, works with Playstation pads. Looks like one PSX/PS2 extension cable.

When I said _POST_, I meant post. Not "thread". :-) I was going to make a comment and decided not to, but there is no way to delete posts.

Incidentally, I was just going to suggest that DyLucke might want to consider buying an official Sega 6-button controller for his Amiga/CD32, as they are the best non-analogue pad I've ever used. And I've tried a LOT of different pads! ;-)

Here it is:

Amiga A1200/060

And don't forget the appe v4 is on Aminet. I already made it and works OK with PS pads. Never tested it as a mouse (different version/other hack model?).
Goodbye people.

I\'ll pop on from time to time, RL is acting up.

First, hello for my friend rkauer. Helped me many times with hardware and software here in Brazil. At the time of the ebay auction there are some discussions in English AMiga Board about this item. Search in that site about this pads. I remember something (discussion) about the aminet hack and about the different hack.

I really don't know if the appe v4 works with analog controls, AFAIK the guy who was developing it is from Granada, and i've seen a post somewhere he was talking about v3.2 with full digital functions and a future v4 that would support analog as a mouse...

Maybe finally he didn't make it to include the "mouse emulation" ?

I've got his email, but it doesn't exist anymore.

I'll keep on looking for some info.
