Warp3D PPC Demo failure.
« on: November 04, 2008, 04:03:12 PM »
I have installed a fresh copy of AmigaOS 3.1 with WarpUP, Warp3D, and CyberGraphX 4.1 on my Amiga 4000 equipped with Phase5 CyberstormPPC and CyberVisionPPC.

My problem is I can't load the Warp3D PPC demos without the Amiga freezing. If I run the 68k equivalent demo it runs fine. One could ask if my PPC is broken, but I don't believe it is as I've tried MorphOS without problems and several PPC programs I've run also worked perfectly well.

Anyone with any lose suggestion to what I can try?

Warp3d often runs low on gfx memory. This is worse in cases where you have a high wb resolution and a background image. Try a lower resolution (eg 640x480) and no background image.

Thanks for the tips. I've used the latest i could find on Aminet. As my workbench is the default AmigaOS 3.1 with no background images, low res, etc. I don't beleive its running out of video memory either.
