Wanted: Monitor for A1200
« on: October 21, 2008, 03:18:27 AM »
Hi

I'm desperately looking for a new monitor for my A1200. My 1084S died on me. Preferably also a 1084S but other suggestions that would do the job are welcome.

I've been looking for weeks now and I'm still watching some auctions but so far no luck. So if you have one you can part with or can guide me somewhere please let me know. Preferably in Europe cause it should be shipped to Belgium.

Cheers

Did you try a repair shop to see if they can fix your old one? It might cost the same to get it fixed if you end up having to have one shipped in.

Don't get a nasty old monitor, go and grab yourself a decent flat-screen CRT (19" is a nice size) along with an IndivisionAGA to power it @ 1024x768 :-D
Life begins at 100 MIPS!

Nice Ports on AmiNet!

Though some members have issues when installing an IndivisionAGA I'll give it a try myself. I have 2 VGA monitors and waiting for a dying monitor is no use indeed. I hope Lisa plays it nice.

Thanks

honestly spend the money on a Indivision AGA for your 1200 and you will be very happy :-D  use one of your old svga monitors with it and enjoy :pint:

I've got several 1084S and a Commodore 1942 monitor, but shipping it from Chicago to your country would be too costly.
