A500 Clockport - Installation recommendations?

Hello, all. When installed in an A500 case, the second clockport on Jens' A500 clockport adapter is flush against the underside of the A500 keyboard. Not a good thing, I think. Does anyone have recommendations for safely installing the adapter? I have very little experience with electronical components. Can I insulate the underside of the keyboard with fish paper or something similar? Regardless, the keyboard will be resting slightly higher than it should, and the second clockport will still be unusable.

Yeah, it's kind of a tight fit... NOT desirable in this case, LOL.

I used a few pieces of electrical tape as a temporary measure. (Not the best/safest idea, but as you mentioned the keyboard is already raised a bit, and there isn't much room to raise it any higher.) When I get around to actually using the thing, I've been thinking I may try either filing down the header a bit and connecting an extension cable, or simply desoldering the header completely and soldering an extension cable directly to the board. Then it's out of the way, and usable.

on my rev5 board, had to bend a couple of capacitors out of the way  :-o  eeeek, 20yr old solder joints!
i've just slipped a piece of card under the keyboard  :-)
