I got my DENEB card working good in my old A3000D last night, wanted to thank E3B and Michael Boehmer for answering my emails/questions. I posted my final working combo on the yahoo group but would do that here too:

0. Set startup-sequence to SetPatch QUIET NOCACHE. Save and turn off machine.
1. All jumpers off the DENEB, now power up.
2. Get new software, Poseidon, Luciferin and Fat95 - install
3. Goto Trident software and chose a driver, for me the PIO one works.
4. Click it to go 'Online' and then it should initialize & recognize DENEB.
5. Save these settings in Trident.
6. At this point reboot.
7. Do some test. Add a USB jump drive and it should pop up on Workbench!
