This may be a stupid question, but is a mouse for an Atari computer compatable with the Amiga?

I don´t think it´s stupid, but smart to ask.

I have a "Wizzard" mouse or something, it has a switch beneath it where I can set it to Atari mode or Amiga mode. On a bad day, Atari mode can kill a CIA chip.

Oh, crap a post with kill and CIA in it... Echelon will come for me now...
A posting a day keeps the sanity away...

I do have a trackball that has an Amiga/Atari switch, so I suppose they are close but the same. Probraly just a case of exchanging a few wires.

edit:

Beaten by 1 lousy second ???? :boohoo:  :boohoo:  :boohoo:
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else
