Smart File System
« on: August 16, 2008, 07:50:45 PM »
Hi all,

I've just installed a new IDE HD in my A4000D. I've successfully installed OS3.9, but it won't recognise my SFS partition, which is on a separate IDE HD. Says the drive is "Uninitialized".

What do I need to do to get it to see the partition? I don't want to have to reinstall the drive and format it as I've got too much stuff on it.

Thanks in advanace.

Put the SFS (same version as the FS was formatted with!) on the RDB of the HDD.

Yes, use HDToolbox -> partition drive -> add/update.
