I've disabled "Referrer logging", but I don't see why that would matter.
Well, THAT's what was the matter! "Send Referrer Information" MUST be on for Opera to work perfectly with Amiga.org
I wonder if Opera's site-specific feature can allow me to enable that option just for Amiga.org. Let's try:
YES it can! Opera's cool :-D
[Although I also use Firefox and Safari because Opera's DOM or something that Google maps and Gmail and eBay use a lot, is slow as molases - if you're wondering what I'm talking about, get an old P3 600-1000Mhz laptop and try Google maps with Opera 9.x, Firefox 1.x,2.x,3.x and Safari 3.x You'll see the night-and-day difference. For some more info on those interested in this stuff (but note they're testing on much faster machines where the difference isn't as pronounced):

So here's how to do it with latest Operas:
Press F12 or look for the Quick Preferences menu. Then you'll see an option at the bottom called "Edit Site Preferences". Click on that and then you can setup Opera to behave differently from the default settings for just Amiga.org or any other site. Of course you have to be browsing that site when you do the "Edit Site Preferences" so that it automatically inserts the site name.
Cheers!
