A2058 Ram Board - Is Ram Available?

I have an A2058 Ram Board that has only the 2 megs of ram that came with it.  It is expandable to 8 megs and I was wondering where I could buy the ram chips to upgrade it?  They are called 1 Megabit Drams.  Are they available on EBay or somewhere else?  Or does someone here have any they would like to sell?  I have no idea if they are rare or easy to find.  Any help or links to auctions would be appreciated.

You need 1Mx1 DRAM chips.

Samsung km41c1000p-10

As you will need 24 chips, try to pay no more than about $0.50 each

This guy has some but at $2 per chip it's a bit expensive. He's only got two left in his current auction (which is not much use to you) but mail him and he might be able to get you 24.

These might do ($0.49 each) but I dunno what the difference is between the 41C1000 and 41C1001.

You can probably use different makes of 1Mx1 DRAM DILL chips, what make is on your board?

P.S. I would recommend buying slightly more than you need just in case any are broken.

The chips on the A2058 are NEC D421000c-10.  I will need 48 of them to fully fill the board.

If you have 2Mbytes then you already have 16 chips?

I fear that if you want to get exactly the same chips and get a good price that you will have to enter the world of online chip trading. Use the RFQ (request for quote) system and see if you can find some at a decent MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity).

I bought some two years ago in CONRAD. (DRAM, DIP 18, 1 M x 1,  Best.-Nr.:  171921-11)
But they don't seem to have them anymore.

I think the best is to try flea market, you might find 10s of them on some very old PC motherboards, just wash them..

Thanks for all the help!  I found some online which I just purchased.  I bought 124 new chips in tubes for $85.  It is far more chips than I need but I will have extra's if I decide to buy another A2058 card.

You cannot fit more than one per Amiga.

But I am sure you could sell them to other A2058 owners.
