« on: June 02, 2008, 02:30:01 AM »
Hey everyone, I just bought Napalm CD from J-Golden here...
and I can't get past the first level even   :-?
Haven't had this much trouble with RTS's on my PeeCee... no matter what I do, my soldiers just get slaughtered....Anyway, someone have any tips, or game saves? I tried Google, just found the code to reveal the entire map....

What good does it do to cheat? If you cheat it's not like you actually did anything, so how is that better than where you were before?

You will struggle if you try to control every unit as a group,

move more slowly and plan your attacks!

I'm kinda in the same boat, but I got to level 2!

I find that even on my 060/66 Voodoo3 3000 it's painfully slow and I think that makes it harder somehow...

Are you playing it on real hw or on an emulator?

I retried the game under WinUAE, and just got to level 3. Under a real amiga it's much easier, I think the CPU player is simply too fast under UAE.

Perhaps try and tweak down the settings on UAE so that it's closer to a real amiga (cycle exact etc).
A posting a day keeps the sanity away...

Me? Real Amiga, but I was going to try it in UAE to see how it went, maybe not bother if it speeds up the opponent
