Well, that sort of cable wouldn't have have pass-through termination. (It's possible, but highly unlikely.) If your sampler has more than one SCSI port (possibly labled in, out, or through, similar to the MIDI ports, although it doesn't usually matter), then it likely requires external termination; otherwise, the device probably has terminators on-board.
Most if not all Amiga SCSI HBAs are old enough that the terminators are implemented as removeable resistor-packs.
If you're comparison shopping, many of these cables would have been advertised as SCSI cables for Macs and scanners. Back in the day, most "PC" scanners were bundled with ISA SCSI HBAs.
