In terms of operation. Nothing.

I think they might take different flavour (pinout) Agnus chips but I cannot know for sure. They are made with different types of RAM chips (one has 256K*16 chips the other has 256K*4)

I bought a plus version and yes, there is the same agnus like on the picture. I installed it in PAL A2000. Everything seems to work properly.
