This is true but Genesi itself is fine. Thendic was a subsidary company and was linked to the other they had to close...

So, Pegasos2 and MOS and Genesi lives on!

I hate  posts like this.. It represents the LAME attitude of the Amiga community.. Genesi GONE?? Not quite, how about irresponsible headlines :-)

It does grab your attention down though. This is the kinda of headline that makes me not wanna be here..

I thought Thendic-France was a part of Genesi. At least that's how it seemed when the formation of Genesi was announced.
If it is not, then how how can Genesi be part of the Thendic-France vs Amiga, Inc. case? Also, how would Thendic-France's bankrupcy (and disolusion?) affect the case?
Okay, back to the original topic. How does Thendic-France relate to Genesi? What ties are there between the two?
That should spurn some meaningful disscussion or a flame war...  :-x

Wait two months, then you'll know for sure. Then you can either cry and buy a PC at last, or break open the champagne, depending on your stance, and the result. Or not care at all and point out how they never would have gone if they used x86. ;)

Frankly, if all current companies in Amiga land throw in the towel, I couldn't care less - I have my machine for the next 10 years.

The delay caused by the bogus Articia chips and the months spent to switch to another northbridge took a heavy toll, but frankly, the Pegasos II is ready, the first batch sold, and there is still demand for the machines.

So at least I see a viable future, even if with a slightly more slim company than before. The product they have has charm and potential.

I'm still glad that they're not simple resellers, and their hands aren't tied.
