Amiga 1200 OS3 OS4 Multi booting
« on: June 11, 2008, 04:33:01 AM »
I have both OS3 and OS4 installed on my A1200 060 BPPC/Bvision system and it works great so far. I choose the OS using the early boot menu. The only thing is OS3.9 needs to boot twice because of Kickstart patches I assume. I have to select OS3 from the Early boot menu twice each time for it to boot up otherwise it goes to OS4 after the re-boot.

Say I make a custom set of Kickstart roms for OS 3.9 with Doobrey's tools so OS 3.9 will boot up on the first time. Will OS4 still work with custom 3.9 Kickstart ROMs?

Is there a better menu system that I can install to choose between MOS, OS3, and OS4 at boot time or should I just stick with the menu?

Thanks,
-Jeff
